Born in California in 1955 and
being an only son I was destined
to be a hunter and fisherman. My
dad, (Hurb) fresh out of the
Navy, was already guide fishing
and hunting throughout Northern
California and he took me on my
first Duck Hunt when I was 5
years old.
In 1968 the family loaded up and
moved to Priest Lake Idaho,
where we owned and operated a
resort business on the West Side
of the lake at Indian Creek,
this is where fishing started to
become an obsession for me.
Priest Lake during those years,
was thriving with very large
Lake Trout and at that time held
the US record of 54 lbs. |

My dad started up a fishing &
hunting guide business that
allowed the novice and
accomplished fisherman to take
on these giants and he quickly
developed a reputation for
consistently catching fish over
30 lbs. on an average 8 hour
trip. In those days, I watched
and learned a lot from my dad
and honed my skills that I still
apply today. Since then I have
traveled all over the world,
fished in a number of states and
countries and have been prolific
in learning to improvise and
ensure that a good fishing day,
is not just a boat ride and a
good time can be had by all.
My knowledge of the Washington
State fisheries is exceptional
and I strive for excellence when
it comes to safety, quality, and
customer service. My goal is to
make sure that everyone on the
boat is having the best time
they can. As I stated before, I
don't want to just provide a
boat ride, I am committed to you
catching fish on your special
day. If I don't think that will
happen for you, I will simply
tell you and reschedule for
another time.
